Where Ya At Matt brings Gospel Brunch to Ballard

If you’re a Seattleite that hasn’t tried the food stylings of the Where Ya At Matt food truck, well, we might have to pull your “Seattle Resident” card until you do.  Lucky for you, there’s a great chance to try their food February 5th at Hilliard’s Brewery in Ballard.

Where Ya At Matt and Hilliard’s are pairing up to give you the “Gospel Brunch,” a New Orleans’ style brunch at the Taproom featuring two gospel choirs and a full menu.  Food to be served includes Hushpuppies, biscuits and gravy, House-cured bacon, andouille, and red potatoes, Creole-style eggs benedict, and fish and grits.  And of course, no visit from Where Ya At Matt would be complete without beignets.

The sessions for this gospel brunch begin at 10:30 a.m. and then at 12p.m., and tickets are $40 per person.  Each session can host 50 diners and the event is kid-friendly.  Hilliard’s Taproom is located at 1550 NW 49th Street in Ballard.  Tickets are available through Brown Paper Tickets.
