September is here, the Puyallup Fair is happening down south, and once again its time for Wallingford’s annual Wurst Festival, an Oktoberfest-style celebration at St. Benedict School.
This year, the festival falls on September 21st and 22nd, and is sure to provide tons of fun in Wallingford. There will be rides, craft booths, a book sale, live entertainment and of course, Bratwursts. Other food available will include salmon, burgers and homemade desserts, among others. There is also an indoor beer garden. About 10,000 people come to Wallingford to participate in this event, which acts as a fundraiser for the school.
The Dudley Manlove Quartet will be playing on Friday night and Saturday night from 9pm to midnight in the school’s auditorium. The festival itself runs from 4pm to 10pm on Friday, and 10am to 10pm on Saturday.
St Benedict’s is located on Wallingford Avenue and North 49th Street.
