There’s no better way to celebrate this country’s independence than by…taking it over as a zombie? With all the talk of flesh-eaters in the news, you’d think zombies were a reality…but have no fear, when you see them in Fremont this weekend I promise it will just be a little paint (that might even wash off, if this rain keeps up).
The 4th Annual Zombie Walk in Fremont takes place Saturday, July 7th beginning at 12pm with a number of zombie festivities throughout the day. Besides the zombie walk itself (starting at 7pm), the undead can enjoy a drink in a quarantine-themed beer garden and a performance by the Seattle Thrillers.
There will also be prizes for the best costume. The theme of this year’s event: Zombieland, the deadliest place on earth. Zombie Disney characters are highly encouraged.
Over 7,000 people are expected to participate. You can purchase your zombie pass to participate here for just $3.75. Festivities center around the Fremont Outdoor Movie space at 3501 Phinney Ave N.
