5 Corner Market & other restaurants join in Japan fundraising effort

If you haven’t been to 5 Corner Market in Ballard, it’s amazing.  No, really.  It has a craft beer selection too long to pick from, paired with really top-notch food that Gordon Ramsey would be impressed with.

Now, 5 Corner Market is joining in the fundraising efforts for Japan.  Dine on Wednesday, April 6th, and 10% of the sales will go directly to victims of the earthquake and tsunami.

This is part of a local fundraising movement called Red White Unite – on April 6th, around 40 Seattle restaurants are doing the same – donating 10% of their profits to the Japan fundraising effort.  Local participating restaurants include Ray’s Boathouse, 50 North, and Kisaku Sushi.  For a complete list of all the restaurants participating, visit the full Web site here.

All money raised in this effort will be donated through Peace Winds America.
